Families are often on the front lines when an individual is struggling with complex life events.
We offer comprehensive support and education for people affected by violence, domestic violence, mental health issues, imprisonment, gangs and violent extremism.
Our innovative family counselling approach helps families and loved ones cope better with the impact of complex events, helps those affected to stay safe and guards against other family members being drawn into the same behaviours.
We work with statutory bodies taking referrals and also directly in the community offering drop-in sessions and workshops.

Our sessions develop people’s existing strengths to empower them with the awareness, knowledge and skills to help younger generations stay safe and healthy and build better resilience in the face of hardships.
Workshops covers:
Dealing with violent extremism: families, friends and communities

Mentoring for Life provides a safe space for girls and women to connect and share their common experiences.
Our mentors support girls as they navigate the challenges of their teenage years, helping them to gain the knowledge to look after their mental health and wellbeing.
We work with 16-19-year-old girls because evidence shows that they can struggle with issues related to body image, self esteem and their physical and mental health.
They can also need extra support because of systemic barriers to their personal growth, including poverty, racism and sexism.
Girls who participate in this programme may experience more confidence, healthier relationships and a greater sense of belonging.
